PARAGLIDING
It's flying nature makes it the ideal form of transport to discover our mountains and valleys. Conceived in 1978 near Morzine, paragliders are an evolution of parachutes. Open to all, easy to handle, light (8 to 12 kilos) paragliding remains however an aeronautical sport needing conscientious training. Tandem flights take place from Super Morzine with licensed instructors.
A brand new sport born in Val Fréjus this is not for the faint hearted. A ski and fly activity taught by Antoine Montant, a silver medal at the aerobatic world championships in 2006.

DOG SLEDDING
Le Grande Odysse husky dog-sled championships race through Morzine from the 8th-12th January 2008. You can try this traditional activity yourself at Avoriaz.
