Climbing
Rock climbing is an all-round sport where you use your strength to climb up specially prepared rock faces. There are a range of routes for beginners and guiding for advanced climbers. 3 cliffs in Le Biot. The "Pas de l'Ours" cliff, with some routes up to 80 metres in length, up to level 8A, 8B. The "Touvière" beginners rock face, with routes up to 30 metres in length (5 to 6B). The rock-face for experts looking to work on their technique at the Col du Corbier, at Arblay (from 7B).

Horse-riding
You can take many paths through beautiful mountain scenery making for a truly memorable day.
There are two local riding schools: Montriond Le "Ranch de l'Avenir" - Horse riding with Pierre Premat and Françoise Saint Marc, and Morzine's Parc des Dereches.
Fishing
Here is the chance to titillate numerous different species in the various rivers (the Dranse in Morzine, the Jotty dam etc) and lakes (Mines d'Or in Morzine, lake Montriond etc). The river Dranse is famous for its trout fishing.
Golf
For the golfing enthusiasts, there are courses at Les Gets and Avoriaz and just 40 minutes down the valley the international course at Evian, with the spectacular course at Chamonix just over an hour away.

Parapenting
Morzine offers the perfect backdrop for Paragliding often hosting world cup events. Tandem flights take place from the top of the mountain where your qualified instructor will take you on a bird's eye tour of the valley below.

Quad Biking
Quad bikes are 4x4 sand or dirt bikes that you burn around forest and circuit tracks on near to the Ardent lift station. Circuits

Tennis
Both Morzine and Les Gets have tennis centres. Morzine has 10 courts of various surfaces that can be booked on an hourly basis. Courses are also available at all levels.
Tree Zip Lining
Allow yourself to be attached to a zip line harness and slide through the forest canopy at speed. Treescapades is for anyone who has ever wanted to fly through the trees without touching the forest floor.

Via Ferrata du Mont
An adventure that makes your head spin. Manoeuvre over rock faces fitted with special iron trails (via ferrata) as you climb across gorges equipped with a safety harness, crash helmet and safety rope. Various routes available for climbers of all experience levels.
